Travel

I was born on Reunion Island, France. I have traveled several times between that island and France mainland, mostly to Toulouse. Then I spent two years in Toulouse, but mostly in my room, studying and preparing the competitive exams to enter an engineer school.

I passed the exam, and studied two years in Paris, France, at Telecom Paris (now Telecom ParisTech). A scholarship obtained through ParisTech allowed me to spend the two following years in Beijing, China, first in the Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), then in Tsinghua University.

I then prepare my PhD during a bit more than three years in Paris, again at Telecom ParisTech. And after that, well, I moved to Switzerland, Yverdon-Les-Bains, while working in Lausanne.

During my PhD, I had the opportunity to go to Glasgow, Las Vegas, Berlin, Prague, Kobe, Rennes and Marseille.
